Best Recipes For Homemade Teeth Whitening Treatment

Whitening your teeth is of the essence, but it shouldn't dent your pocket. You do not have to go to a dentist or buy some expensive teeth whitening products. With the following recipes, you can always make your own remedy. They are as effective but much more economical.

Strawberry and Baking Soda Paste

Strawberry is a bit acidic. Applying it on your teeth and letting it sit, sometimes softens the persistent stain. When you brush with the mixture, the abrasive property of the baking soda and toothbrush bristles removes the softened layer.

  • 2 Strawberries
  • One teaspoon of baking soda

Mash the two strawberries in a bowl. Add a teaspoon of baking soda and mix until it begins to form a paste.

Recommended Application Method

Use a soft brush or your fingers to spread the paste onto your teeth. Leave it to settle for 5 minutes, then brush your teeth to remove the baking soda/strawberry mix. Rinse your mouth with water to remove any residue.

Banana Peel Teeth Whitening Recipe

Banana peels are rich in minerals such as magnesium, potassium, manganese, which, when absorbed into the enamel, helps remove the stain and whiten the teeth. The process is not abrasive enough to remove the stain. Nor does the banana peels contain any bleaching substances, but it still does the job anyway.

  • A ripe banana

Peel the skin off of the banana and make square shapes with the peels.

Recommended Application Method

Rub the inside of the peeled banana on your teeth for a couple of minutes, ensure you reach every section.

Brush your teeth as usual to remove the residues, and then thoroughly rinse.

For best results, do this regularly.
